Music Reality

Music has such a very profound influence and impact on the lives of people from all walks of life, and from a baby in the mother's womb to the eldest person in the world. It is believed that if the mother let's the baby inside her womb to listen to music most specially those with high pitch sounds such as the operatic songs, the baby will become musically inclined and smart. I tried that, shall I say, breakthrough when I was pregnant with my only girl, and it also included playing on my Yamaha electronic keyboard with mostly Christian music about everyday. Well, seems true, since she is so much into music even before she has learned how to walk and talk properly before her 1st birthday. In addition, she is also smarter than her brothers. Then came another pregnancy, this time I bought a headpiece which I used to place on my tummy so that my baby in my womb can "hear" the music played on my portable Sony CD/cassette player. Hmmmmm... again, that discovery or idea proves to be true. This baby of mine can so easily learn the lyrics of songs, although not really that accurate. He began to sing and dance even before he learned how to walk and talk as well. Most of the time I'm surprised as to how fast he can remember the songs. He has lots of questions and I can say that he is a smart 3 years old baby.

Moreover, feelings can also be directly expressed through music. Lovers can send music lyrics or videos to their beloved to express what they feel inside or to send them a message of their silent thoughts, desires and feelings. Most of the time, we can see through the lyrics of the song the writer's experience or has been experiencing and they put into their song their inner feelings and point of views.

As for me, I listen to music whenever I'm lonely or happy. There are lots of old songs that I like as well as new ones. I love to sing although I don't have a nice voice :)
